The Messenger| horizontal

This is the horizontal version of the traditional artwork “The Messenger” by artist Sarah Richter. The artwork titled depicts an owl soaring forward with wings fully spread, carrying a rolled parchment in its talons as it approaches a gothic window. The stone frame of the window has a pentagram in the center, adding an occult touch to the scene. Beyond the window, a full moon illuminates an old graveyard filled with gnarled trees. Inside, the foreground reveals a candlelit room within a castle—clearly the workspace of a wizard or witch. Stacks of ancient books, potions, strange tools, and curious plants fill the space. In one corner, a cat sleeps peacefully while a small mouse hides nearby.
